Our Mission is "To promote health and well-being to the congregation and the community. To encourage people to assume responsibility for their own health and to live a full life with a healthy balance of body, mind and spirit."
Health Council members consist of lay persons and health professionals who work together to support the health ministries of First Church.
Services include:
Blood Pressure Clinic is held on the second Sunday of the month from 9-10:00 a.m. in the hallway outside of Room 203 and on the fourth Sunday at 10:30-11:00 a.m. at the West Campus in the hallway. This allows you to monitor your blood pressure.
Food Ministry- volunteers bring a meal to the church when asked and it is delivered by a member of the Health Council to a member in need.
Medical Supply Closet- durable medical equipment, including walkers, commodes, crutches and shower seats. These items were donated by members and they are available to members on loan by contacting the church office.
Flu Shot Clinic - held once a year at both campuses.
