Children are an active and vital part of our church family. Therefore we strive to foster within each child the desire to discover God in a personal way by providing opportunities to experience and explore the Bible, prayer, worship, fellowship, and reaching out to others in love.
Our offerings for children include:
Children’s Time is a part of our West Campus Worship Services. It is a time when all children are invited by the Children’s Ministry Team to join our Director of Children’s Ministries at the front of the Celebration Center for a message related to the topic of that week.
Children’s Church is offered weekly during West Campus Worship Services directly after Children’s Time. Children are invited go with the Children’s Ministries Team to Room 104 for a Worship Service designed specifically for them. Our Services include joys & concerns, prayer, scripture, offering time, a Bible lesson and active praise related to the weekly sermon theme. Children age 3 through the 4th grade are welcome to attend Children’s church, or they are always welcome to stay in Worship service with their families if they chose.
West Campus 5th Sundays, No Children’s Church
In months with five Sundays, the children are invited to join the full church congregation for the normal services on the fifth Sunday of the month. This is done in order to begin to integrate the children with the larger church body and help them envision their future within the church. Children are invited to volunteer to help during these services, with reading, greeting or ushering by contacting Miss Cindy. Restless children up to age 3 have the option to stay in the Nursery instead if they wish.
